(a) Initial report of 2004 & 2005 surplus sites: Staff will present for committee review and possible action, the initial report of surplus properties prepared by the Department of Real Estate. (b) Geneva and Ocean (Block 6946/ Lot 061): Staff will present information pertaining to the development potential of the site for priority uses under the Surplus City Property Ordinance and the Committee will discuss and possibly act on staff’s recommendation that the Mayor’s Office of Housing transfer jurisdiction of the site to the Department of Public Works in order to be maintained as support for the Ocean Avenue pedestrian bridge.
(c) Junipero Serra (Block 7000/ Lot 025): Staff will present information pertaining to the development potential of the site for priority uses under the Surplus City Property Ordinance and the Committee will discuss and possibly act on staff’s recommendation that MOH, working with the Department of Real Estate, explore the feasibility of selling the site.

6. Public Comment
At this time, members of the public may address the Citizens Advisory Committee on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee but do not appear on the agenda. With respect to agenda items, the public will be given an opportunity to address the Committee when the item is reached in the meeting. Each member of the public may address the Committee for up to three minutes, unless an extension of time is granted by the presiding Committee Chair or Vice Chair.
To facilitate timely public comment, those wishing to address the Committee should fill out a “speakers card” provided by the Committee Secretary and submit the completed card to the Secretary at any time during the meeting.
The Brown Act forbids a Committee from taking action or discussing any item not appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at Public Comment. In response to public comment on an item that is not on the agenda, the Committee is limited to:
briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or
requesting staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or
directing staff to place the item on a future agenda. (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).)

CELL PHONE AND/OR SOUND-PRODUCING ELECTRONIC DEVICE USAGE AT HEARINGS
Effective January 21, 2001, the Board of Supervisors amended the Sunshine Ordinance by adding the following provision: The ringing of and use of cells phones, pagers and similar sound-producing electronic devices are prohibited at this meeting. Please be advised that the Chair may order the removal from the meeting room of any person(s) responsible for the ringing or use of a cell phone, pager, or other similar sound-producing electronic devices (67A.1 Prohibiting the use of cell phone, pager, or other similar sound-producing electronic devices at and during public meetings).

City Hall is wheelchair accessible. The closest accessible BART station is Civic Center, three blocks from City Hall. Accessible MUNI lines serving this location are: #42 Downtown Loop, and the #71 Haight/Noriega and the F Line to Market and Van Ness and the Metro stations at Van Ness and Market and at Civic Center. For more information about MUNI accessible services, call 923-6142. There is accessible parking in the vicinity of City Hall at Civic Center Plaza and adjacent to Davis Hall and the War Memorial.
