(a) Term Limits: Committee Members to discuss the impact of the expiration on January 18, 2006 of terms for the following Committee Members appointed by the Mayor and Board of Supervisors. Mayoral appointees: Bruce Engle – broadly represents the interests of San Francisco ’s neighborhoods; and Jill Fox – advocates on behalf of open space and/or neighborhood parks. Board of Supervisor appointees: Jamie Armstrong – Experience in providing supportive services to help individuals and families exit homelessness; Scott Clark – Currently or formerly homeless; and Ana Guiterrez – Currently or formerly homeless with their family or is an advocate or service provider for homeless families
(b) Public Noticing: Committee Members to discuss and possibly take action on public noticing proposal submitted by Committee Member Fox which would require the Mayor’s Office of Housing to place physical notices at each property that is being evaluated as suitable for disposition under the Surplus Property Ordinance.
(c) Broadway/Sansome (0165/021): Staff to provide update on status of parcel.
(d) 150 Otis (3513/007): Committee Members to discuss and ratify a motion proposed at the October 17, 2005 meeting that “the Mayor’s Office of Housing put forward a solicitation of interest and receive responses in a timely manner for development proposals that meet the criteria of the surplus property ordinance for 150 Otis Street . The motion also included language requesting that MOH staff write a letter to the BOS informing them that this property is in process with the Surplus Property CAC and requesting that they not vote on it until this process is completed.”
(e) Initial report of 2004 & 2005 surplus sites: Staff will present for committee review and possible action, the initial report of surplus properties prepared by the Department of Real Estate. 6. Public Comment
At this time, members of the public may address the Citizens Advisory Committee on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee but do not appear on the agenda. With respect to agenda items, the public will be given an opportunity to address the Committee when the item is reached in the meeting. Each member of the public may address the Committee for up to three minutes, unless an extension of time is granted by the presiding Committee Chair or Vice Chair.
To facilitate timely public comment, those wishing to address the Committee should fill out a “speakers card” provided by the Committee Secretary and submit the completed card to the Secretary at any time during the meeting.
The Brown Act forbids a Committee from taking action or discussing any item not appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at Public Comment. In response to public comment on an item that is not on the agenda, the Committee is limited to:
briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or
requesting staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or
directing staff to place the item on a future agenda. (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).)

CELL PHONE AND/OR SOUND-PRODUCING ELECTRONIC DEVICE USAGE AT HEARINGS
Effective January 21, 2001, the Board of Supervisors amended the Sunshine Ordinance by adding the following provision: The ringing of and use of cells phones, pagers and similar sound-producing electronic devices are prohibited at this meeting. Please be advised that the Chair may order the removal from the meeting room of any person(s) responsible for the ringing or use of a cell phone, pager, or other similar sound-producing electronic devices (67A.1 Prohibiting the use of cell phone, pager, or other similar sound-producing electronic devices at and during public meetings).

City Hall is wheelchair accessible. The closest accessible BART station is Civic Center, three blocks from City Hall. Accessible MUNI lines serving this location are: #42 Downtown Loop, and the #71 Haight/Noriega and the F Line to Market and Van Ness and the Metro stations at Van Ness and Market and at Civic Center.
