2018 Downtown Neighborhoods Preservation Fund NOFA
MOHCD is pleased to announce the issuance of a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for acquisition and rehabilitation financing for existing housing under the Downtown Neighborhoods Preservation Fund (DNPF). This NOFA will help stabilize affordable housing located in the Downtown area that are particularly susceptible to market pressure resulting in property sales, increased evictions and rising tenant rents.
Eligible projects must be within a one-mile radius of the Oceanwide Center, located at 50 First Street.
It is anticipated that approximately $33MM will be made available through this NOFA.Â
Applications will be considered in the order received at any time following publication of this NOFA and until the earlier of the commitment of all funds under this NOFA or December 31, 2019.
